Barlow Junior Baseball Parent Pledge

All parents, please read, sign and return to the coach or appropriate team representative.

  1. 1) I will remember that players participate to have a fun and educational baseball experience. I acknowledge that the game is about the kids, not the adults.
  2. I will NOT engage in unsportsmanlike conduct such as booing, taunting, cursing or talking negatively about other players, umpires or participants of the league in person or via a solical media.
  3. I will strive to get my player to all practices and games on time and will return to the field well before the practice or game is over.
  4. I will be a positive role model for my child and always show respect and courtesy to all players, coaches, umpires and spectators.
  5. I will continuously teach all players that doing their best is more important than winning.
  6. I will participate in league activities when needed or requested.
  7. I will respect the coaches and umpires decisions and will refrain from coaching my child or other players during games.
  8. 1) I understand and accept these guidelines as part of my participation in Barlow Junior Baseball. I also understand by violating this pledge, I may be asked to remove myself from games or practices.
